Listen Up! Unreleased Michael Jackson Song Hits the InterWebs!

And it sounds a hell out of a lot better than Michael Jackson’s, “This Is It.”

The song is a duet with singer Lenny Kravitz entitled, “Another Day.” This is probably one of many songs that Jackson has recorded over his lifetime that have not seen the light of day…that is until now.

Hell, if 2Pac and Biggie can make 8 albums each after they have both died, why can’t the King of Pop. So here’s what I predict will happen: the estate of Michael Jackson will find all these songs that have not yet been released and make a compilation CD and earn millions of dollars from the sales.

Watch it happen. It’s not a bad idea, either. I definitely would buy the album…only if the shit on it doesn’t sound like “This Is It.”

I’m sorry, ya’ll but that was some wack ass confusion of a song. “Another Day” sounds much better.

Bow Wow, that one dude who is (?) a rapper who “hit” songs include, “Bounce With Me,” and…, decided to take to his Twitter account and, well, talk about how drunk he was and how he was about to hit the people crowding the streets road “tipsy.”

In his own words:

“Face numb im whippin the lambo. Tispy as f*k. Just left @livmiami….Im f**ked up!!! Ohhhh damn. Y i drive the lambo. Chris might have to drive after next spot.”

What a f**king dumbass! Seriously! You could have hurt someone or yourself. You need to stop hanging around the likes of Chris Beat-her-Down Brown.

A few hours later, the messages were gone and replaced with this apology tweet:

“Apologize for that tweet. it was stupid and immature. not a way i want to kick my #2010 year off. i got too much good stuff lined up. my bad.”

Yeah, let’s start off the new year with a different kind of hit, Bow Wow. Can we do that?

Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to Thrill For Generations to Come

This is something that is well deserved.

Michael Jackson’s iconic music video, “Thriller,” is becoming immortalized by history…officially. This week, Jackson’s video was selected to be added into the National Film Registry this year by the Library of Congress.

This is the first time that a music video has been selected to join the cultural elite of films. Which brings up to an interesting point: “Thriller” isn’t technically a film. It’s a music video, which, yes, is 11 minutes long but that doesn’t consititute it as a film.

According to the Library of Congress, selects films that are “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.” So, I guess “Thriller” could fall under that.

Anyway, it’s very fitting that this video has been selected seeing that we lost that artist who created it and one of the greatest performers of all time.

I’m content with that.

The Jonas Bros. To Break Up? Say It Ain’t So?

Well, seeing that Nick has a solo project coming up (Nick Jonas and the Administration), Kevin focusing on his marriage, and with Joe…well, Joe thinking about unemployment, this isn’t too hard to believe.

Sources are squealing that Nick Jonas, the youngest brother, is focused on becoming the next Justin Timberlake, with a new album being released Feb. 2nd and a 14 city tour he’s embarking on chances are that will be a strong possiblity.

Kevin, the one with the most hair and who recently became married, is a happly newlywed and his number one priority is his wife, Danielle. Which no one can blame him for.

I give them one more album, maybe in late 2010, then after that we won’t be hearing too much from them as a group. It’s going to be interesting to see how his solo project with Nick turns out. Maybe he will pull a Justin. Who knows.

All “good” things must come to an end.

Michael Jackson’s FBI File Released

Michael Jackson’s FBI file was released today, detailing various aspects about the pop star’s life. The releasing of the file includes the FBI’s investigation into the singer’s child molestation allegations made against him by a 13 year-old boy in 1993 and the 2003 child molestation case he faced in Los Angeles, CA when another 13 year-old boy made similar allegations.

But the file didn’t reveal much that the public didn’t know already. The file included heavily redacted documents, photocopied tabloid articles and  what would be considered the most sensational of the bunch, a plot to kill the singer and then president, George H.W. Bush.

“Frank Paul Jones had a history of threatening to kill the president and had been arrested numerous times outside the White House, according to investigatory reports. In rambling letters collected by the FBI, Jones claimed to be the son of John Gotti, demanded money and pledged to “commit mass murder at a Michael Jackson concert.” A Los Angeles federal judge sentenced him to two years in prison in 1993 for mailing threatening communications to Jackson.”  (La Times)

But it seems like the FBI really didn’t do much, as local authorities did most of the heavy lifting. Yes, the FBI had to be involved with most of the cases because of the federal charges and alleged threats made against Mr. Jackson, but it seems like they let the local authorities handle all the work.

T.I. Released from Prison, But…

He’s heading to a halfway house. T.I., that one guy whose songs include, “Whatever U Like” and “Swing Ya’ Rag,” was sent to prison last year, after pleading guilty to gun charges from 2007.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was originally sentenced to 366 days in prison, but he has only served 7 months in federal prison. After he spends the rest of his sentence in the halfway house, T.I. still has to complete more than 500 hours of community service and 23 days of house arrest.

Will Gaga perform? Grammy Performers Announced

The Grammy Award performers are slowly trickingly out this week.

Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and the Black Eyed Peas are all set to perform at this Grammy awards airing Jan. 31st on CBS. Beyonce and Taylor Swift will have a busy night with performing and being nominated for 10 and 8 Grammys respectively.

Lady Antebellum and soul singer Maxwell are also set to perform at the award show on Sunday night.

Taylor Swift is also expected to present, according to People Magazine.

But my burning question is: Will the Gaga perform at the award show? All I got to say is she better. Oh and Gaga, no hanging from the ceiling in blood, please. Might freak the old people out.

Add Another Accolade To Your Shelf, Ms. Taylor Swift!

You’ve been named AP’s Entertainer of the Year. America has truly fallen in love with this woman as she has won every award imaginable in the field of entertainment.

With over 2 million albums sold, Taylor Swift is on point to becoming 2009′s best selling arist with her 2008 (yes, 2008!) release, “Fearless.” She has “won album of the year from the Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. She hosted “Saturday Night Live” and performed at the Grammys. She won five American Music Awards, including artist of the year.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Congrats are at hand, Ms. Swift. You must be doing something right if you can take down Beyonce or Lady Gaga (who I believe should have gotten the award, but hey, who am I?).

That’s Mrs. Underwood To You…

It’s happening! That one chick who won American Idol in 2005 is engaged to Ottawa Senator hockey player, Mike Fisher, according the singer’s rep. Mike and Carrie, reportedly, began dating in 2008 and both have been very secretive of their relationship. But Underwood has been dropping subtle hints along the way for her fans, most recently in her 2009 CD, “Play On,” linear notes where she gave a small shout-out to her now fiancée.

No wedding date has been set, according to her rep.

Lady Gaga Named MTV’s Woman of the Year

Just had to send some congratulations to one of my favorite arists, “Lady Gaga.” Ms. Gaga has been named MTV’s Woman of the Year, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyonce. I have to say that Lady Gaga definitely deserves this recognition as she has provided the country (and world!) with some of the biggest hits this year, including, “PokerFace,” and more recently, “Bad Romance.”

Congrats, Mz.Gaga! Congrats!
